Since 2003, Holistic Personal Training Services™ (HPTS) has been offering a cutting-edge, evidence-based approach to corrective and functional exercise. Our focus is on training movements as well as muscles. Corrective Exercise Strategies along with Functional Exercises enhance the durability and functional performance of the body.  HPTS focuses on restoring posture, mobility, movement, stability, strength and performance, while decreasing the chance for injury.
 
Science has long since proven that aging and disease occur at the cellular level, HPTS also offers a cellular approach to exercise. Cellular exercise is one of the only exercises that improves health and enhances fitness from the inside out at the cellular level. Cellular exercise improves immune function, energy, tissue repair and increases healing. This amazing exercise increases lean muscle tissue and burns fat more efficiently than conventional aerobic exercises.

From the inside cellular level of the body to the outside posture of the body, HPTS embraces a ‘whole-body’ (holistic) approach to health and fitness.

Every day people are engaging in some sort of exercise routine with the goal of decreasing body fat while increasing strength and performance. However, what we don’t know can hurt us. Sometimes an exercise can do more harm than good and can simply place fitness on top of dysfunction. Trends of improper exercise selection have led to dramatic increases in musculoskeletal dysfunctions, which are indicated by:

  • Pain
  • Stiffness
  • Inflammation to the joints, shoulders, and neck
  • An increased incidence of fracture
 
These above challenges have created further restrictions to the fundamental movement patterns, which reduce the capacity to perform everyday tasks.
 
HPTS will test for faulty movement patterns and other imbalances then, correct these imbalances with corrective exercises specifically tailored to the individual, resulting in the improvement of health, fitness, performance and overall fundamental movement. From the beginner to the advanced athlete, to the young and old, we improve all levels of functional fitness.
